In early 2024, the Silent Pod team decided to move on from their previous marketing agency. While the partnership started well with their previous agency, both results and communication began to decline in the early months of the year.
In March 2024, Silent Pod approached us to review their digital channels and craft a strategy to drive growth in New Zealand while successfully launching in Sydney, Australia. They were impressed with the growth strategy we proposed and officially came on board in April 2024.
The challenge
When we came on board, Silent Pod had strong brand awareness in the New Zealand market but no activity in Australia. They had not yet tested any digital advertising for the Australian side of the business. Additionally, our SEO audit uncovered several technical issues on their website that were limiting their organic performance.
Silent Pod’s primary goals were to generate more leads in Sydney to grow their Australian business and gain a clearer understanding of their digital marketing performance.
Our solution
We implemented a three-phased approach for Silent Pod, focusing on laying strong foundations, testing and learning, and then scaling.
To start, we ensured their analytics were accurate and capable of capturing lead generation data that could be attributed to specific channels and marketing campaigns. Next, we overhauled their Google Ads account to modernise it and align it with best practices. This included incorporating dynamic search ads, extensions, and a bidding strategy tailored to their business goals. Once the Google Ads account was upgraded and a plan for continual optimisation was in place, we moved on to the next phase.
In the testing phase, we explored different campaigns and channels to identify complementary strategies that could enhance overall lead generation performance while reducing the cost per lead. During this phase, we launched Microsoft (Bing) Ads, Facebook and Instagram campaigns, Google Display campaigns, LinkedIn lead generation campaigns, and a new SEO strategy. We’ll implement a scaling strategy throughout 2025.
Results
Despite entering a new and highly competitive market in Sydney, Australia, Silent Pod achieved outstanding growth, including a 158% rise in lead volume. Our 2024 digital marketing results strengthened Silent Pod’s presence in the Australian market but also enhanced their overall marketing performance across both Australia and New Zealand, positioning them for continued success in 2025 and beyond.
